(NKJ) · November 2 consider the poor Psa 41:1 Blessed is he who considers the poor; the LORD will deliver him in time of trouble. (NKJ) Prov 19:17 He that hath pity upon the poor lendeth unto the LORD; and that which he hath given will he pay him again. (KJV) We can be merciful to those around us. I would rather be too merciful than hold back from helping. We trust God to help us discern those in genuine need. · November 3 realize our need Matt 9:29 Then He touched their eyes, saying, “According to your faith let it be to you.” (NKJ) Rom 10:17 So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. (NKJ) Each of us can chose to believe that God’s promises in the Bible are for us! · November 4 God heals Isa53:5 But He was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement for our peace was upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed. 1Pe2:24 who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness– by whose stripes you were healed. See Jesus not only bearing your sins, but also paying for your healing through the stripes He bore. You are healed because of what Jesus has done for you. We have peace from sickness and disease because of what Jesus has done for us. · November 5 those who seek the LORD shall not lack any good thing Ps 34:10 The young lions lack and suffer hunger; but those who seek the LORD shall not lack any good thing. (NKJ) Ps 84:11 For the LORD God is a sun and shield; the LORD will give grace and glory; no good thing will He withhold from those who walk uprightly. (NKJ) We trust God to help us in our daily lives as we live for Him! · November 6 Say to the righteous that it shall be well with them Isa 3:10 “Say to the righteous that it shall be well with them, for they shall eat the fruit of their doings. (NKJ) Gal 6:7-8 7 Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. 8 For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting. (KJV) As Christians, we choose to go God’s Way all the time. We thank God for good fruit coming from the Word of God we plant in ourlives. · November 7 the LORD knows the way of the righteous Ps 1:6 For the LORD knows the way of the righteous, but the way of the ungodly shall perish. (NKJ) Nahum 1:7 The LORD is good, a strong hold in the day of trouble; and he knoweth them that trust in him. (KJV) We thank God for knowing all about us and taking care of us in all our ways as we live for Him. · November 8 who desires all men to be saved 1 Tim 2:4 who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. (NKJ) John 3:16 “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. (NKJ) Be encouraged that God wants all men to be saved. God has no pleasure in the death of the wicked. Lets live for Jesus and tell others the Good News of Jesus Christ! · November 9 according to His mercy He saved us Titus 3:5-6 5 not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit, 6 whom He poured out on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Savior, (NKJ) Heb 4:16 Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need. (NKJ) Let us always recognize that we receive salvation, healing and deliverance according to God’s mercy. Let us not rely on our works but wholly trust in Jesus Christ, our Savior. · November 10 if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation 2 Cor 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. (KJV) John 1:12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: (KJV) When we receive Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, we immediately become a child of God! · November 11 the prayer of faith will save the sick James 5:14-16 14 Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. 15 And the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. 16 Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much. God has made a way to be healed. ‘The prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up.’ Receive your healing as you are prayed for by the elders of the church. · November 12 not under law but under grace Rom 6:14 For sin shall not have dominion over you, for you are not under law but under grace. (NKJ) Rom 6:12 Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof. (KJV) We consider ourselves dead to sin and alive to God through Jesus Christ. We say no to sin and yes to living for God. · November 13 cleanse us from all unrighteousness I Jn 1:9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. (NKJ) Ps 19:13-14 13 Keep back Your servant also from presumptuous sins; let them not have dominion over me. Then I shall be blameless, and I shall be innocent of great transgression. 14 Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in Your sight, O LORD, my strength and my Redeemer. (NKJ) We can ask our Heavenly Father, in the Name of Jesus, to forgive us of our sins. We can trust God to help us get sin out of our lives and to stay away from it. · November 14 To those who eagerly wait for Him He will appear a second time Heb 9:28 so Christ was offered once to bear the sins of many. To those who eagerly wait for Him He will appear a second time, apart from sin, for salvation. (NKJ) 2 Tim 4:8 Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing. (KJV) As Christians, we live with the expectancy that our Lord Jesus Christ will return quickly and suddenly. · November 15 all the promises 2 Cor 1:20 For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us. (KJV) Prov 30:5 Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him. (KJV) We can totally rely on everyone of God’s promises! · November 16 receive the crown of life James 1:12 Blessed is the man who endures temptation; for when he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him. (NKJ) Matt 26:41 Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak. (KJV) Stay alert and avoid temptations. We stay strong through waiting on God in prayer and His Word, the Bible. · November 17 the Lord knows how to deliver the godly out of temptations 2 Pet 2:9 then the Lord knows how to deliver the godly out of temptations and to reserve the unjust under punishment for the day of judgment, (NKJ) Ps 121:3 He will not allow your foot to be moved; he who keeps you will not slumber. (NKJ) We thank God for keeping and protecting us! · November 18 the God of all comfort 2 Cor 1:3-4 3 Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort; 4 Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God. (KJV) John 14:16-17 16 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; 17 Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you. (KJV) We thank God for the Holy Spirit, who leads us and comforts us in all our ways. · November 19 say no to sin Heb 4:15 For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin. (NKJ) Heb 12:4 Ye have not yet resisted unto blood, striving against sin. (KJV) We can always say no to sin. We don’t have to give in. We can ask God in prayer to help and strengthen us. · November 20 Trust in the LORD with all your heart Prov 3:5-6 5 Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; 6 In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths. (NKJ) Ps 32:8 I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will guide you with My eye. (NKJ) Jesus Christ, our Good Shepherd, is leading us in our daily lives! · November 21 the kingdom of God belongs to us Luke 12:32-33 32 Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom. 33 Sell that ye have, and give alms; provide yourselves bags which wax not old, a treasure in the heavens that faileth not, where no thief approacheth, neither moth corrupteth. (KJV) Matt 25:34-40 34 Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: 35 For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in: 36 Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me. 37 Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink? 38 When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee? 39 Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee? 40 And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me. (KJV) We lay treasure up in heaven as we consider those in need around us. As this Christmas season approaches, we can do extra to consider others. · November 22 God protects us Ps 125:1-2 1 Those who trust in the LORD are like Mount Zion, which cannot be moved, but abides forever. 2 As the mountains surround Jerusalem, so the LORD surrounds His people from this time forth and forever. (NKJ) Jer 17:7-8 7 “Blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD, and whose hope is the LORD. 8 For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters, which spreads out its roots by the river, and will not fear when heat comes; but its leaf will be green, and will not be anxious in the year of drought, nor will cease from yielding fruit. (NKJ) We thank God for keeping us in all of our ways as we trust Him! · November 23 God’s blessings are available to us Ps 1:2-3 2 But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. 3 And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper. (KJV) John 15:5 “I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing. (NKJ) Each Christian will have good results in their life as they abide wholeheartedly in Jesus Christ. · November 24 be patient, brethren, until the coming of the Lord James 5:7-8 7 Therefore be patient, brethren, until the coming of the Lord. See how the farmer waits for the precious fruit of the earth, waiting patiently for it until it receives the early and latter rain. 8 You also be patient. Establish your hearts, for the coming of the Lord is at hand. (NKJ) Rev 22:7 “Behold, I am coming quickly! Blessed is he who keeps the words of the prophecy of this book.” (NKJ) Rev 3:11 “Behold, I am coming quickly! Hold fast what you have, that no one may take your crown. (NKJ) Lets always be ready for the return of our Lord Jesus Christ! · November 25 So we may boldly say: “The Lord is my helper; I will not fear. Heb 13:6 So we may boldly say: “The Lord is my helper; I will not fear. What can man do to me?” (NKJ) Isa 41:10 Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.’ (NKJ) We thank God for helping in every area of our lives! · November 26 God will counsel us Ps 16:7 I will bless the LORD who has given me counsel; my heart also instructs me in the night seasons. (NKJ) Ps 32:8 I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will guide you with My eye. (NKJ) Jesus Christ, our Good Shepherd, is leading us in our daily lives! · November 27 make you wise for salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus 2 Tim 3:15 and that from childhood you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. (NKJ) John 3:16 “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. (NKJ) Each person can have eternal and abundant life through receiving Jesus Christ as Savior! · November 28 All Scripture is given by inspiration of God 2 Tim 3:16-17 16 All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, 17 that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work. (NKJ) Ps 119:89 Forever, O LORD, your word is settled in heaven. (NKJ) We can totally rely on God�s Word in all that we do! · November 29 For the word of God is living and powerful Heb 4:12 For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. (NKJ) Rom 1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek. (NKJ) God�s Word is fast and powerful! We can share it and speak it with those around us. It has the power to heal and to set people free from bad habits. Ps 107:20a He sent His word and healed them, (NKJ) · November 30 grow through God’s Word 1 Pet 3:12 For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and his ears are open unto their prayers: but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil. (KJV) 2 Chr 16:9a For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him (KJV) Through Jesus Christ, we have right standing before God. Lets always walk in that righteousness. |
