| September 1 believe that you receive them, and you will have them Mark 11:24 “Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them. (NKJ) I Jn 5:15 And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him. (NKJ) We know that God hears and answers our prayer. · September 2 without faith it is impossible to please Him Heb 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. (NKJ) Mark 11:22 So Jesus answered and said to them, “Have faith in God. (NKJ) God expects us to believe His Word. As we seek Him diligently, we will be rewarded. · September 3 Go into all the world and preach the gospel Mark 16:15-16 15 And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. 16 “He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned. (NKJ) Matt 28:19 “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, (NKJ) As Christians, we have the great Commision to share the gospel of Jesus Christ with others. We trust God to first fill us with His Holy Spirit, empowering us to be His witnesses. · September 4 Fear not Isa 41:13 For I, the LORD your God, will hold your right hand, saying to you, `Fear not, I will help you.’ (NKJ) Ps 121:2 My help comes from the LORD, who made heaven and earth. (NKJ) We thank God for His help in our daily lives! · September 5 When you lie down, you will not be afraid Prov 3:24 When you lie down, you will not be afraid; yes, you will lie down and your sleep will be sweet. (NKJ) John 14:27 “Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. (NKJ) We choose not to be troubled or afraid. We rest in the peace of God that passes all understanding. · September 6 Cease from anger Ps 37:8 Cease from anger, and forsake wrath: fret not thyself in any wise to do evil. (KJV) Prov 16:32 He that is slow to anger is better than the mighty; and he that ruleth his spirit than he that taketh a city. (KJV) Each of us can choose not to get angry over both little and big irritations. We choose to stay filled with the Holy Spirit, to have the fruit of the Holy Spirit in our lives and not let our flesh rule our lives. · September 7 forgive men their trespasses Matt 6:14 “For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. (NKJ) Matt 18:21-22 21 Then came Peter to him, and said, Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? till seven times? 22 Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven. (KJV) With God’s enabling grace, we choose to forgive those that trespass against us. We remember how God has forgiven us. · September 8 before honor is humility Prov 15:33 The fear of the LORD is the instruction of wisdom, and before honor is humility. (NKJ) Luke 14:11 For whosoever exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted. (KJV) We walk in humility before God and people. We trust God to open up opportunities without exalting ourselves. · September 9 Blessed are the peacemakers Matt 5:9 Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God. (NKJ) Heb 12:14 Pursue peace with all people, and holiness, without which no one will see the Lord: (NKJ) We choose to be at peace with people. Regardless of whether they are family, friends or casual acquaintances, we pursue peace and love with those around us. · September 10 For we are members of His body Eph 5:30 For we are members of His body, of His flesh and of His bones. (NKJ) 1 Cor 6:15a Do you not know that your bodies are members of Christ? (NKJ) We remember that each Christian is part of the body of Christ. We take care of our body which we have been entrusted with. · September 11 Give, and it will be given to you Luke 6:38 “Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you.” (NKJ) 2 Cor 9:6-7 6 But this I say: He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. 7 So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver. (NKJ) God promises us a bountiful harvest as we sow our time and talents into the kingdom of God. · September 12 How precious is Your lovingkindness, O God Ps 36:7 How precious is Your lovingkindness, O God! Therefore the children of men put their trust under the shadow of Your wings. (NKJ) Ps 91:4 He shall cover you with His feathers, and under His wings you shall take refuge; his truth shall be your shield and buckler. (NKJ) We trust God to keep us in all of our ways as we live for our Lord Jesus Christ. · September 13 ask, and it will be given to you Luke 11:9-10 9 “So I say to you, ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. 10 “For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened. (NKJ) I Jn 5:14-15 14 Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. 15 And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him. (NKJ) We thank God for answering prayer according to His Word! We boldy bring our prayer requests to our Heavenly Father, praying in the mighty Name of our Lord Jesus Christ. · September 14 put on love, which is the bond of perfection Col 3:14 But above all these things put on love, which is the bond of perfection. (NKJ) I Jn 4:11-12 11 Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. 12 No one has seen God at any time. If we love one another, God abides in us, and His love has been perfected in us. (NKJ) We have God�s promise that as we walk in love toward others, we are abiding in God and that His love is perfected in us. · September 15 I have set before you an open door Rev 3:8 “I know your works. See, I have set before you an open door, and no one can shut it; for you have a little strength, have kept My word, and have not denied My name. (NKJ) 2 Cor 2:12 Furthermore, when I came to Troas to preach Christ’s gospel, and a door was opened to me by the Lord, (NKJ) Just as the Apostle Paul had an open door of opportunity given Him by our Lord Jesus Christ, we trust God to open doors of opportunity for us. · September 16 Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses Rom 8:26 Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. (NKJ) Jude 1:20 But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit, (NKJ) Each Christian can be filled to overflowing with the Holy Spirit. We can simply ask our Heavenly Father, praying in the Name of Jesus, to be filled with the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit can then through and for us. · September 17 For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body 1 Cor 6:19-20 19 Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own? 20 For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s. (NKJ) · September 18 Oh, taste and see that the LORD is good Ps 34:8 Oh, taste and see that the LORD is good; blessed is the man who trusts in Him! (NKJ) Deut 28:2-3 2 “And all these blessings shall come upon you and overtake you, because you obey the voice of the LORD your God: 3 “Blessed shall you be in the city, and blessed shall you be in the country. (NKJ) We trust in our Lord Jesus Christ by obeying his Word, the Bible. We obey the leading of the Holy Spirit in our lives. We thank God for His blessing on our lives. · September 19 the LORD delivers him out of them all Ps 34:19-20 19 Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the LORD delivers him out of them all. 20 He guards all his bones; not one of them is broken. (NKJ) Ps 91:14-15 14 “Because he has set his love upon Me, therefore I will deliver him; I will set him on high, because he has known My name. 15 He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him and honor him. (NKJ) We thank God for delivering us out of troubles and afflictions as we trust Him. · September 20 in Your presence is fullness of joy Ps 16:11 You will show me the path of life; in Your presence is fullness of joy; at Your right hand are pleasures forevermore. (NKJ) Isa 12:3 Therefore with joy you will draw water from the wells of salvation. (NKJ) We thank God for filling us joy. There is joy in staying close to our Great Shepherd, the Lord Jesus Christ! · September 21 If God is for us, who can be against us? Rom 8:31 What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? (NKJ) Ps 46:1 God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. (NKJ) We trust God to care for us in all of our ways! · September 22 He restores my soul Ps 23:3 He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake. (KJV) Ps 54:4 Behold, God is mine helper: the Lord is with them that uphold my soul. (KJV) We thank God for helping and restoring us! · September 23 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation 2 Cor 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. (KJV) Col 3:1 If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. (KJV) Lets live for our Lord Jesus Christ will all of our heart! · September 24 make known His deeds among the peoples Ps 105:1 Oh, give thanks to the LORD! Call upon His name; make known His deeds among the peoples! (NKJ) Mark 16:15-16 15 And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. 16 “He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned. (NKJ) With the empowerment of the Holy Spirit, we can share the Good News of Jesus Christ with others. Jesus saves to eternal life and abundant life. · September 25 He is also able to save to the uttermost Heb 7:25 Therefore He is also able to save to the uttermost those who come to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them. (NKJ) Rom 8:34 Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, and furthermore is also risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us. (NKJ) Our Lord Jesus Christ is in heaven praying for us! Heb 13:6 So we may boldly say: “The Lord is my helper; I will not fear. What can man do to me?” (NKJ) · September 26 For the LORD gives wisdom Prov 2:6 For the LORD gives wisdom; from His mouth come knowledge and understanding; 1 Cor 1:30 But of Him you are in Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God– and righteousness and sanctification and redemption We trust God to give us wisdom in all that we do! · September 27 exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching Heb 10:25 not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching. (NKJ) Heb 3:13 but exhort one another daily, while it is called “Today,” lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin. (NKJ) As Christians, we encourage each other to live wholeheartedly for our Lord Jesus Christ. · September 28 faith in the power of God 1 Cor 2:5 that your faith should not be in the wisdom of men but in the power of God. (NKJ) 2 Cor 4:7 But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellence of the power may be of God and not of us. (NKJ) The grace and power of God in our lives makes a difference that can be seen. We choose to live as examples that others can see God’s grace in our lives. · September 29 for without Me you can do nothing. John 15:5 “I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing. (NKJ) Phil 4:13 I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. (NKJ) As we abide in our Lord Jesus Christ, we receive strength and power to bear good fruit in our lives. · September 30 fishers of men Matt 4:19 Then He said to them, “Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men.” (NKJ) Prov 11:30 The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life, and he who wins souls is wise. (NKJ) With God�s help, lets share the gospel of Jesus Christ with others! |
